Children's Health Foundation Crumlin
Children’s Health Foundation raises vital funds to support sick children and their families in CHI hospitals and urgent care centres – from funding vital life-saving equipment and providing essential patient and parental supports to making ground-breaking, paediatric research possible.
Children’s Health Foundation is the new name for CMRF Crumlin and Temple Street Foundation, which came together in January 2019 to become one foundation supporting all CHI sites to ensure every sick child has the very best chance. The National Children’s Hospital Foundation in Tallaght will soon also join Children’s Health Foundation to become a single, unified family supporting all of Ireland’s sick children.
We are committed to supporting the little patients and families who attend Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) hospitals and urgent care centres in Temple Street, Crumlin, Connolly and Tallaght.
With the continued kindness and generosity of our supporters across Ireland and beyond, we will work as one organisation to continue our vital work in supporting the patients, families and staff in CHI – today, tomorrow, and in the future.

CHF Crumlin has been Shaws Charity Partner since 2019. In this time we have raised funds through cake sales, head shaves, waxings, cycling and walking challenges, abseiling from Croke Park, Christmas Jumper Days, tea and coffee mornings and the creation of a 2021 Calendar capturing images and stories of the activities our staff got up to during the 1st lockdown of 2020.
Raising monies over the past 2 years (Covid-19 era) has been a real challenge but we were determined to rise to this. Charities and their contributors had to rethink away from the usual fundraising means during Covid. With social distancing hampering events it was back to the drawing board to find new ways to raise vital funds. The creation and sale of our Charity Calendar and a “working from home” Christmas Jumper Day helped raise many thousands of euros. We also virtually walked the coastline of Ireland in Nov 2020, completing over 4000km in the month with donations reaching over €2,000 on Just Giving and physical donations.
Shaws are very proud of our people's efforts and enthusiasm to engage with all the events and initiatives. We will continue to support CHF Crumlin for 2021 and 2022.
