In Irish history, the Wild Goose is often used to describe the story of the Irish military diaspora. To this day wild geese can remind us of the many Irish people who have physically left these shores but emotionally never will.
This is an original design by co-founder Kathleen Smyth, who is a keen watcher of the natural world and has a great fondness for wild geese. It has a carefully polished pure bronze or iron finish with a ceramic resin cold-cast pouring.
